The WRA Directors have recently appointed Mr Julain Smith as an Associate with the company.
Julian Smith is a Chartered Civil Engineer with almost 40 years of experience of the water industry in the UK and overseas, including 2D river modelling, flood analysis, flood alleviation works design, reservoir spillway analysis and design, water resources analysis, analysis of steady and unsteady flow in pipe networks and sewerage system modelling. He has audited water company submissions to OFWAT as well as assisting in their preparation. Julian has also been involved in helping developers satisfy Planning requirements regarding flood risk and in the preparation of technical evidence for Public Inquiries and the promotion of projects in Parliament.
